HOPE HOUSE REMAINS COMPLETELY FREE OF COVID-19

Thanks to the hard work of staff and clients, Hope House has remained completely free of coronavirus throughout the pandemic so far.

Since the country went into lockdown in March, not a single case of coronavirus has been reported at the hostel, which houses between 14 and 22 clients and at least 5 members of staff at any given time.

Staff and clients have taken serious precautions to ensure coronavirus doesn’t spread, wearing PPE and regularly sanitising all communal areas.

Liz, the Service Manager at Hope House, said:

“We have been really concerned about the virus affecting our clients here at Hope. People have a lot of health conditions, and could have been seriously ill. So far, we’ve not had a single case- I am hugely proud of staff and clients who have worked together to make sure we all stay safe during this time.”
