Grace* was just 20 years old and 20 weeks pregnant when she arrived at Hope House. After experiencing threats of violence from a family member, she had no choice but to flee her home and became homeless.

Grace sought emergency refuge at Hope House. Pregnant and alone, she was in dire need of safe housing for herself and her unborn child. Hope’s Support Workers provided her with a safe space to stay, emotional support, and housing advice. They worked together to help Grace apply for emergency accommodation with the Council.

Grace is now living in her new home, and is looking forward to the birth of her child.
